Emma was a Senior Associate at the Litigation Department of the law firm ROCA JUNYENT, in Madrid, from 2000 until she joined MONTERO ARAMBURU in June 2018.
She has a wide experience in handling legal proceedings in the civil and administrative jurisdictions as well as in contractual and real estate matters.
Emma has a vast experience in advising companies in matters of insolvency and has participated in managing insolvency proceedings for big companies from the real estate and the insurance sectors and for concessionaires.
Emma is a regular teacher at various postgraduate courses. She has also been serving as an arbitrator for several years in MOOT Madrid Competición Internacional de Arbitraje, an international arbitration competition organised by Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
She has published several articles specialized in litigation law in the media such as Expansión, Iuris & Lex and Derecho de los Negocios and she participated in the collective work “Régimen jurídico de Internet” (publisher La Ley, chapter: “Protección de los contenidos en Internet: desde la Web TV a la publicación de libros on-line”).
Member of the Madrid Bar Association since May 2000 (membership no. 67.857).
