Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (1988-1993), business branch (specializing in auditing and financing).
Master’s degree in Public Management (2012) and High Specialization courses in International Taxation and Financial Taxation (2015 and 2022).
Appointment as financial and tax inspector and customs inspector in 1999.
PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
With more than 20 years of professional experience in the service of the Public Administration, the team leader in the Inspection Department of the Madrid Regional Unit has held positions in all areas of the State Tax Agency (Management, Collection and Inspection Departments), which has given her a broad knowledge of the tax system and the Agency as an organization, through her participation in its management and organization. Thus, among others, she has held the position of Deputy Director General, first of Planning and Control, and then of Executive Collection, within the AEAT Collection Department, and has been executive delegate and head of the regional HR and E.A. unit in the Special Delegation of the AEAT in Madrid.
Previously, she worked in the Directorate General of Taxes – Sub-directorate General of Income Tax – and in the Provincial Management Unit of the Special Delegation of Catalonia, as Deputy Inspector of Unit, being responsible for the areas of Non-Residents, Foundations and Company Groups. In addition, as regional team leader of Inspection, in 2019 she specialized in Corporate and VAT Tax Groups, many of them with international scope, and with a volume of operations exceeding 100 million euros.
CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
She joined MONTERO|ARAMBURU in 2023.
After being granted voluntary leave of absence in her original Corps, on November 1, 2023, she joined Montero Aramburu Abogados.
Current Partner in charge of the Tax Law Department of the Madrid office of MONTARO|ARAMBURU ABOGADOS.
