Degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and Degree in Law from the Universitat Abat Oliba of Barcelona.
Masters in Tax Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) of Madrid.
Master in Corporate Taxation from the Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria).
He joined MONTERO|ARAMBURU ABOGADOS in 2003.
Fernando specialises in the restructuring of business groups, tax planning and advice for industrial, commercial and services companies, advising in tax disputes and tax inspection proceedings, tax audits through due diligence and company acquisitions.
He has experience in the specialist areas of the Economic and Tax System of the Canary Islands (Canary Islands Investment Reserve, investment incentives and Canary Islands Special Zone) and in indirect taxation (I.G.I.C and A.I.E.M.).
He also has experience in Estate Planning for family businesses, advising various family-owned groups in the implementation of family business arrangements.
He is a speaker on asset restructuring, family businesses and the Economic and Tax System of the Canary Islands at different forums.
Since 2018 he has been the partner in charge of the Tax Practice of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria office of MONTERO ARAMBURU ABOGADOS.
He is a member of the Association of Economists of Las Palmas, the Bar Association of Las Palmas and the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF).
